By Sarah Rhodes
The Passage (2025) is a poetic short film by Sarah Rhodes that drifts between underworld and overworld, exploring the relationship between the human subconscious and the landscapes we inhabit, presented as part of a collection of art films on connection and belonging.
The Passage (2025, 7 min) is a short film that moves fluidly between underworld and overworld, tracing a journey through the porous boundary between inner and outer worlds. By drawing a parallel between the subterranean and the subconscious, Sarah Rhodes explores the deep, inseparable connection between people and place.
