~~~~~
Montz Matsumoto and Voicestrings is an alternative Bluegrass band, which plays modern and accessible music while retaining the essential elements of Bluegrass, such as simple melodies, driving rhythms, and virtuosic performances. Montz’s original songs are a unique blend of Bluegrass, Celtic, Indian, and Japanese influences, evoking a nostalgic feeling.
With the sparkling banjo, the flying flute, and the voices, the band will transport the audience from the golden rice fields of Japan to the Appalachian Mountains, blending excitement and tranquillity.
Montz Matsumoto – banjo
Ross Sermons – guitar
Elisse Kleiner – flute
