David Bridie has a distinguished career as a solo artist, as the creative force behind Not Drowning Waving & My Friend the Chocolate Cake, and as the producer of albums for artists such as Christine Anu and Archie Roach.

Bridie’s 2025 album “On Karens Piano” saw him reimagine songs from his substantial catalogue, stripped back for voice, piano and ambient textures.
David now realises this album live, revealing a new perspective on these songs that are rich with emotion and musicality, in performances that are peppered with stories drawn from his experiences from decades working in The Pacific, and more recently as Antarctic Artist in Residence.
