CHUSK builds a temporary world through exhibited works, spoken word, live music, projected imagery and live improvised art.

CHUSK is a live collaborative work by Angus Watkins and Callum Fairnie.

Developed through drawing, text, rhythm, projection and live artwork, Chusk moves somewhere between underground gig, live exhibition and spoken-word invocation. Watkinsโ€™ large-scale hybrid works and evolving visual constructions sit alongside Fairnieโ€™s readings from ‘Lodger’, a fragmented publication of poetry, drawing and altered book-works treated with pigment, abrasion and the residue of decay.

Throughout the performance, visual works, projection and live improvised art continually reshape the environment itself, while live music unfolds across percussion, electronics, guitar and voice.

Joined by Matrika Music (DJ/performance), Henrik Hayes (guitar), and guest spoken word contributions from Amy Steel, CHUSK unfolds as a live world built from image, word, sound, noise and improvisation.
