Step into the space between who you have been and who you are becoming. A dance production exploring growth, resilience and transformation.
THE THRESHOLD is a powerful dance production exploring the moments that shape us – the challenges, choices, setbacks and breakthroughs that define who we become. Through a dynamic fusion of hip hop, Afro and contemporary dance, alongside original poetry by local artist Vicki Kelleher, Eternal’s Pro Team journey through fracture, fire and alignment, uncovering the resilience, strength and self-discovery that emerge through adversity.
Directed by Rochelle de Vries and Claire Thompson, The Threshold serves as a prequel to Eternal Performing Arts’ 2027 major production, The Portal. Exploring the space before transformation – the moment where we stand between who we have been and who we are becoming – this work is raw, moving and deeply human, inviting audiences to reflect on their own journey and the courage it takes to embrace what’s next.
