Django’s Tiger Trio returns to Salamanca Jazz with a deeply personal concert of gypsy jazz favourites!

Django’s Tiger Trio is back—and this time, you help shape the show! As you arrive at the venue there will be an extensive repertoire list/menu at the check in desk, just tick the tunes you love and we will assemble the setlist from your suggestions.

We’re building the setlist around the music that moves you: Hot Club classics, deep cuts, wildcards, and favourites that connect us all to the legacy of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.

This concert is especially close to our hearts as we share the tunes that have shaped us as improvisers—pieces that reflect our personal journeys through swing, improvisation, and the timeless spirit of gypsy jazz. Expect heartfelt storytelling through music, spontaneous interplay, and solos that take risks.

If you’ve seen us before, you know we don’t hold back. Join us for an evening of connection, energy, and the joy of sharing the music we love most—with you in the front row, helping guide the way.

As our recent Funding Application to Arts Tasmania was not supported, the 2026 Salamanca Jazz Live Music Series at Salamanca Arts Centre will be funded entirely by your support and ticket sales, and by Salamanca Arts Centre’s earned revenue. In 2026 Salamanca Arts Centre receives ZERO dollars from the Tasmanian State Government, but you can support Salamanca Arts Centre and, in turn, our Artists, by purchasing a ticket for this and other events, or by making a tax deductible donation at https://www.sac.org.au/donate/
