Ulrike Hora
Exhibition Dates:
Wednesday 30th September – Monday 26th October, 2026
Viewable 24/7
Emergence showcases works from Ulrike Hora’s recent exhibitions including Entwined, Phoenix Pods, Eruptions and Growth. Within these Ulrike explores aspects of nature that also serve as metaphors for life and connections. Themes include renewal, decay, regrowth, endurance, and the capacity to change.
Her building technique involves incorporating seed pods and discarded fabrics into porcelain. Through the firing process these materials are ‘fossilised’ into the porcelain and emerge in a changed new form. The translucency of the porcelain allows you to see the remaining traces in their transformed skeletal state, reimagined and emerging.
