Through sculptural form, Embodied Bodies expresses the sensory experience of being fully present and alive in one’s body within a water rich environment.

Early morning swims in the Derwent with friends, a dash of mythology and memory. Two female forms, sculpted through a female lens. Immersing the body in the natural world means exposure to the elements. The immediacy and intensity of sensations brings sharp awareness to the experience of the body from the inside.
