This body of work tells a story of the ever changing landscape of the Midlands.
“I was fortunate to have a month long residency at AIR Space in Oatlands earlier this year. I was given a wonderful space in which to work. The studio is located behind a Victorian shop front making it an ideal place to work and welcome visitors to my work space. While depicting the area is not unusual for my practice, having daily feedback from visitors was a new experience. The Midlands is an ever changing landscape, with big sky of billowing clouds, a painters dream.”
