Alphaminx are Lutruwita/Tasmanian premier electro-rock trio celebrating the release of their debut album.

The trio have been playing since 2023, developing their sound influenced by bands including Massive Attack, Portishead and Single Gun Theory. The band have self-produced their debut album, inspired under the southern skies of Lutruwita/Tasmania.

Lead by multiple ARIA- award winning artist Monique Brumby, AlphaMinx provides an evocative environment for her lyricism and haunting voice. Chris Evason, keys and percussion, has worked with bands in UK, Spain and Australia. Sound technician Eric Jaques on synthesisers, has an impressive collection of vintage drum machines and synths, that everyone enjoys in the creative process.

The album was made just outside of Hobart/nipaluna. Join them on their quest to share their lively, full of heart new tunes.

Special guests are graduates from Brumby’s masterclass series.
