THE LINE – TEASER
Set during Van Diemens Land’s 1830 military movement known as The Black Line.
The story of THE LINE is centred around a property with a white mistress, a black servant and an unexpected visitor.

Funny, edgy and volatile, the line pulls no punches in its exploration of the hard but relevant question-

How do we move forward together when our shared history is so violent?

Writer and Assistant Director | Nathan Maynard
Director | Nancy Black from Blackhole Theatre (VIC)
Producer | Salamanca Arts Centre and Blackhole Theatre
