This collection reimagines the cowgirl archetype as more than a person—it is a way of being or state of mind. These loosely painted pieces depict the duality of strength and vulnerability, rebellion and grace. Featuring local, popular culture and historical characters the exhibition plays with this sense of identity in its various forms.
