 f human emotion through body language and gesture in portraiture.––â
 €“––Zoe Lovell captures the subtle ways in which we communicate\, re
 vealing emotions that words may fail to convey. Each painting depicts a 
 moment\, inviting the viewer to interpret the emotional subtext through 
 nuanced cues.\n\n\n\nThe artist highlights certain movements and body pa
 rts through each painting\, cropping in on certain areas\, such as the f
 ace\, hands\, back and torso. The aim is not to present one single emoti
 on through the body of artwork\, but rather\, portray a wide spectrum of
  feeling and expression throughout the entire series.\n\n\n\nThis body o
 f work gives a glimpse into the hidden feelings of the sitter\, allowing
  the viewer to interpret moments of reflection and vulnerability in thei
