 s and Recreation Centre (YARC) proudly present an evening of emerging Ta
 smanian talent\, featuring folk-pop storyteller&nbsp\;Mia Barron&nbsp\;a
 nd genre-bending duo&nbsp\;Isle Two.\n\n\n\nMia Barron&nbsp\;brings her 
 calm\, heartfelt songwriting to the stage\, weaving personal stories wit
 h a gentle folk-pop sound. Influenced by artists such as Gracie Abrams\,
  Searows and Noah Kahan\, her music captures moments of change\, connect
 ion and vulnerability. After releasing her debut EP&nbsp\;Pages Unfoldin
 g&nbsp\;in 2024\, Mia is preparing to launch&nbsp\;Faded Annotations&nbs
 p\;in May 2026\, marking an exciting new chapter in her work.\n\n\n\nSha
 ring the bill is&nbsp\;Isle Two\, an uncompromisingly original duo emerg
 ing from Tasmania’s southern shores. Joe Vere and Jasper Szypura creat
 e a bold\, evolving sound shaped by a wide mix of influences. Their debu
 t single&nbsp\;Penny&nbsp\;questions whether the idea of a “perfect pe
 rson” can ever exist\, offering an intriguing first glimpse into a pro
 ject grounded in curiosity and creative fearlessness. With more music on
  the way\, Isle Two are steadily building momentum.\n\n\n\nThis special 
 collaboration highlights two distinct voices from Tasmania’s next gene
 ration of artists. It’s an intimate\, inspiring night for anyone who e
 njoys fresh songwriting\, thoughtful storytelling and the thrill of disc
 overing new music.\n\n\n\nSalamanca@6&nbsp\;is an event series added to 
 the Festival of Voices 2026 program\, celebrating emerging and early-car
 eer singers and ensembles who are helping shape the future of Tasmanian 
 music. At 6 pm on selected evenings during the festival\, audiences are 
 invited to the Peacock Theatre to discover fresh voices\, original ideas
  and the next wave of local talent. It’s a welcoming space where curio
 sity is encouraged\, creativity is celebrated\, and artists have the cha
 nce to share new work with an audience.\n\n\n\nBy offering a range of pe
 rformers the opportunity to present their work as part of Tasmania’s l
 ongest-running winter festival\,&nbsp\;Salamanca@6&nbsp\;supports the de
 velopment of aspiring vocalists while giving audiences the chance to exp
