  and sun bleached to hollow and deeply textured. These natural qualities
  are paired with both traditional and unexpected materials\; pearls\, si
 lver\, gold leaf\, acrylic ink and steel cable...&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nEach pie
 ce embraces the individuality of the wood and the traces of its former l
 ife. What might first appear as a simple stick or a twisted root becomes
  something more when placed center stage. Each piece becomes a sculptura
