SUMMARY:(Let the) Art Speak
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Second Echo Ensemble\n\n\n\nExhibition Dates:Fr
 iday 27 March – Saturday 11 April 2026Weekdays: 10:00am – 4:00pmSatu
 rday: 10:00am – 3:00pmSunday: CLOSEDCLOSED 3 – 6 AprilOpening Event:
  Friday 27 March 2026\, 5:00pm – 7:00pmSee\, feel and connect with art
works in this anonymous visual art exhibition. Refusing the usual hierar
chies of authorship and reputation\, each artwork temporarily stands on
its own terms stripped of CVs\, titles and identity. Encounter art direc
tly\, without assumption or expectation.––––\n\n\n\nAt its heart
\, [Let the] Art Speak asks: What does art become when we release it fro
m labels?\n\n\n\nPresented by local interdisciplinary arts organisation
Second Echo Ensemble (SEE)\, [Let the] Art Speak is an art exhibition th
at temporarily removes artist names\, CVs and reputations. The exhibitio
n includes local and national artists who were selected anonymously by t
he SEE panel\, based solely on the work itself — its presence\, rigour
\, provocation\, tenderness or force.\n\n\n\nThis exhibition directly ch
allenges how artistic value is often shaped by reputation\, institutiona
l validation\, market visibility or academic standing. By temporarily su
spending authorship\, [Let the] Art Speak creates space for a more democ
ratic exchange between artwork and viewer.\n\n\n\nWhat changes when iden
tity is withheld? What do we notice differently? What biases surface?\n\n\
n\nThis project is an active experiment in equity and perception. It inv
ites artists\, curators and audiences to examine how bias — conscious
or unconscious — influences what is valued\, funded\, collected and re
membered.––––\n\n\n\nCome to our Public Program Sessions\n\n\n\n
