ks to the quiet unraveling of habitats across lutruwita / Tasmania\, foc
using on its common\, threatened\, and endangered flora and fauna. Combi
ning organic photographic textures within digitally constructed forms\,
these artworks reflect the compounding pressures shaping Tasmania’s cu
rrent environment: climate change\, land clearing\, and ongoing misuse.
Blending inlaid images from local habitats and the smooth\, formal visua
l language of illustration\, each work is a layering of mediums and mean
ing. Each artwork pairs a native creature with a plant species\, reveali
ng fragile relationships and shared vulnerability. The works invite slow
looking\, rewarding attention to texture\, pattern\, detail and the del
icate balance of our unique endemic species and wild places.\n\n\n\n\n\n
