 nt forests of Takayna in north-west Lutruwita / Tasmania. This unique ga
 thering brings together artists from across the country â€” and beyond â
 €” to immerse themselves in one of the worldâ€™s last great temperate ra
 inforests.â€“â€“â€“â€“â€“Art for Takayna is more than an exhibition\, it
  is a call to action. For five days\, artists from across Australia camp
 ed in Takayna's remote forests. Under myrtle trees and the hidden gaze o
 f animals\, they created art as a living memory of this ancient ecosyste
 m. This is the story of Takayna told through the eyes of over 100 artist
 s.\n\n\n\nThis yearâ€™s exhibition brings together a powerful collection
  of works spanning photography\, painting\, sculpture and performances.\
 n\n\n\nTogether\, they form a compelling call to action - a visual remin
 der of what stands to be lost forever.\n\n\n\nEntry to the exhibition is
  free\, and artworks are available for purchase. A variety of performanc
 es\, artist talks and workshops will also happen throughout the exhibiti
 on. \n\n\n\nProceeds go towards our ongoing campaign to protect Takayna 
 as a World Heritage-listed national park\, returned to Aboriginal owners
