 \n\n\n"Architecture is a developing body of photographic work representi
 ng everyday architectural urban features that serve a practical purpose 
 but are typically ignored\, such as stairs\, railings\, cables\, fences\
 , pipes\, kerbs\, concrete blocks\, gate frames\, metal posts\, signs\, 
 bollards et cetera.\n\n\n\nThe project is about revealing the formal bea
 uty and character of those things we see everyday but deem uninteresting
  and often dismiss as purely utilitarian city artefacts. My aim is to sh
 ow the surprising beauty and originality that can be found in ordinary o
 bjects on the street\, and make people reconsider\, and perhaps value\, 
 the urban environment they live in. \n\n\n\nThe series uses the interpla
 y of light and shadow to represent boring objects as surprising urban fo
 rms that are somewhat absurd yet exude personality and offer a touch of 
 humour. It is playful at heart and meant as a poetic response to urban b
 oringness\; an attempt to capture a certain kind of beauty that is intan
 gible and fleeting\, and easily goes unnoticed. The project seeks to con
 vey that many unremarkable features of the built environment are still a
 n important and active part of that environment\, and that they shape ou
