Mischief in the markets

FREE EVENT. Saturday 31 March 2012, Salamanca Markets, from 8:00am

On Saturday morning a mischievous cluster of market stalls will spring up in Salamanca Markets, manned by artists, provocateurs, buskers and hairdressers who dream big.

A giant scoreboard will track the changing demographics of market-goers, blind taste tests will confirm once and for all which Tasmanian beer (or newspaper or ginger beer) is better, a stall will hock genuine and genuinely useless wares and in one very cheeky event, the market will seem to acquire a life of its own.

With Elizabeth Woods, Lazlo Steigenberger, Tristian Stowards, Salamanca Flying Squad, Bstyled Mobile Hairdressing & Nail Technician and assorted mischief-makers.
