A Twenty-First century approach to dance study:

The program has two key linked streams that provide pathways to train dancers, choreographers and teachers using an inclusive program approach to contemporary dance as the principle for development of today’s dance artist.

Dance is studied as a major performing art impacting a broad range of artistic, cultural, intellectual and social spheres. The program prepares the student for a career in performance, teaching, or further studies in dance.

 

Certificate IV in Dance: CUA40111

Provides professional technical training for a person to obtain employment in the performing arts industry.

 

Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management: CUA50311

Provides an accredited training program and vocational outcomes for a person to obtain employment as a youth dance teacher.
