Kultour is the national voice that advocates for the importance of cultural diversity in the activation of and participation in the Arts for the benefit of the broader Australian community, reflecting our Multicultural society.
Kultour is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body, as an initiative of the Arts in a Multicultural Australia policy.
Kultour is made up of 11 member organisations across each state and territory. Between them they represent vast expertise in presenting and producing innovative and high quality art works that reflect the cultural diversity of contemporary Australia. Representatives from each Kultour member organisation form Kultour’s Board of Directors. The Kultour Directors develop, produce and present culturally diverse work in their cities and, in some cases, in their immediate regions. They have skills and knowledge in marketing, media, policy, project and event management, and touring.
