Established in 1994, Hammer & Hand is a working Jewellery and Metal collective with the Jewellery Workshop and Gallery open 7 days a week staffed by members of the collective.

Hammer & Hand is known and loved by locals and visitors alike for for its Eclectic Jewellery and metal work, ranging through forged iron pieces and stainless steel utensils to handcrafted mirrors, leather and metal accessories, fine art, sculpture, and art cards, with the emphasis always on Jewellery and Metal. The collective offers, for its members, a business address, workshop with basic jewellery-making tools and a retail showroom.  Members trade and operate as individual businesses under the umbrella of the collective.
