SAC are building a Flying Squad of performers to undertake a series of flash mob style events that take place over the three days from the Friday 30 March to Sunday 1 April 2012. These range from a very cheeky guerrilla action at Salamanca Market, to playful pieces of invisible theatre on Kelly’s Steps.
You do not need to be an experienced performer. These are not “acting” tasks. It’s more like play.
These performances will be rehearsed FAST. Ideally people need to be available for the following dates:
It’s completely fine if you can’t make every session. No problem at all. All welcome.
We pretty much guarantee you will have a good time. And get to work with a very interesting group of artists.
The Flying Squad will be a part of SAC35, a playful weekend of free arts events, Directed by Ian Pidd, Martyn Coutts and Sam Routledge, sharing stories from a colorful 35years, which has seen artists and the community, transform seven derelict warehouses to thriving arts hub.
