Stranger With My Face 2013 begins with the results of an inaugural event this year, the 48-Hour Tasploitation Challenge, supported by Events Tasmania.
Three interstate teams, 11 Tasmanian teams…
One weekend of creativity and mayhem!
Arrive and get a drink before the event starts from 7:30pm, doors close at 8:00pm. The judges include horror filmmaker Ursula Dabrowsky, Neil Foley from Monster Pictures, Andrew McPhail from Screen Tasmania. Lucky door prizes and fun!
Prizes to be awarded include:
- Screen Tasmania Best Film Award (includes $500 cash)
- Cooper Screen Academy Award for Best Performance
- Tasmaniana Award
- Best Fright
- Best Special FX
- Most Innovative Horror Concept
Other entertainment on the night will include special behind-the-scenes footage from the Challenge weekend, and post-event entertainment in the festival club for those still on a high from so much filmmaking excellence.
